Thanksgiving is the season of being grateful and we wanted to highlight some of the things our Pitch Posse (and ourselves) are grateful for.
From assistance to clients, we are highlighting some shoutouts from our superstar community and the things they feel grateful for! (P.S. Don't forget to read what we have in store for next year 😉).
Here's what was shared:
"I'm grateful for my assistant Celeste Gonzalez. She's my rock & keeps the trains running on time. So thankful to have found her!"
"I am grateful for my client Keldamuzik for continuing to help me push Digz Media Group."
"I'm grateful for the ability to connect people with winning opportunities! I met a great group of PR pros at the OnePitch event in Atlanta a few weeks ago and followed many on social. I saw a gig opportunity and immediately thought of one of the pros I met at the event. I sent it to her. She was hired and it was for a major brand she loved! Her thank you message first thing in the morning made my soul happy!"
"I am grateful for nice, kind and understanding clients! The work we do is tough, and while we like to believe we are all magicians, unfortunately, we can’t always work our magic. It’s always great to have clients who understand that, and are willing to work with us."
5.) Things the OnePitch Team is Grateful For
We are grateful for the many exciting happenings on the OnePitch front. From new products to the tools we use, here are a few that you can also partake in:
Our Community
Our Slack community has grown to over 1,000 publicists who are so open to helping one another. We believe in the power of community and love to connect PRos with relevant journalists and other PRos.
From our virtual pitch reviews with top-tier reporters to our playbook sessions highlighting solutions to common PR headaches, there's everything you need. Here's one of the sessions we did recently with Zoë Weiner, a freelance beauty and wellness journalist:
P.S. You can still join the community to partake in these awesome sessions 🙂
The Platform
We have made some big changes recently in the look and feel of OnePitch! It's now easier than ever to navigate and create curated media lists.
We also launched our Similar Journalist tool this year that allows you to find 10 additional journalists you may have missed in your own research. We also have some exciting things coming up to close out the year and head into next year:
- Email connection & settings: You can now connect to external email addresses to send emails, add custom signatures, and manage those emails/signatures.
- Email Previews: You'll be able to send previews of your emails to anyone you want.
- Location Filters: You'll be able to search based on journalists physical location.
- Enterprise & Connected Accounts: We are making OnePitch much more user-friendly for our agency folks. You'll be able to share pitches, lists, and much more with everyone on your team.

Coffee with a Journalist Podcast
We have featured close to 50 brilliant journalists on the podcast this year from publications like Billboard, CNBC, Oprah Daily, and so many more. We even launched a video format for the podcast! See below:
Coming in 2025, we will also be doing some live podcast recordings where you can come, grab a coffee, sit in, and ask these journalists whatever questions you have for them. Stay tuned for dates for that!
Events
We have been loving meeting all of you at our Coffee with Publicists events across the U.S. This year, we hit Boston, NYC, Austin, Denver, Nashville, Miami, D.C., Atlanta, and Philly and we can't wait to start brainstorming where we are going next year. AND...our events will be getting a huge facelift in 2025. More connection, more fun, and MORE journalists.
We are stoked to connect with all of you and keep forging the path for a new way of doing PR. Most of all, we are grateful for YOU can can't wait to dive into next year!
